Modus UI

Mote Beacon

Web (React)

Italic serif letters and marks sinking through the page while accent beams rise, threading themselves to your pointer.

About seventy italic letters and editorial marks (§ ¶ † &) set in the theme heading font sink down the page, swapping characters and linking to their neighbours with hairlines, while beams in --primary rise through them. Marks near the pointer take the accent and connect to it. Everything is drawn from theme tokens on --background and follows palette and mode changes live. It fills its positioned parent, pauses when off screen and renders a still frame when the user prefers reduced motion.
